Montana's 1st Congressional District | republican

Ray is Applying for the Job.

America is a constitutional republic, where voters hire representatives to exercise judgment, uphold the Constitution, and serve the public.

Ray believes it’s time to return to that kind of leadership.

Our republic works only when elected officials respect the rule of law, defend the American Constitution, and govern with integrity. Too often today, Washington is defined by division, political spectacle, and leaders more interested in lawsuits, headlines, and personal power than doing the job they were elected to do.

Ray is running to restore serious, principled representation for Montana.

Rule of Law
The law should apply equally to everyone — government officials included. Respect for the rule of law is the foundation of a functioning republic.

American Constitution
The Constitution establishes limits on power and protects the rights of citizens. Those limits matter, and they must be respected.

Yes to Limited Government
For generations, conservatives believed government should be restrained, responsible, and accountable to the people.
Ray believes those principles still matter.

  • The institutions that protect our freedoms are being tested. Political division has replaced problem-solving, and the character expected of public officials has eroded.

Instead of focusing on the work of governing, too many politicians spend their time attacking opponents, chasing media attention, and turning politics into performance.

At the same time, America’s leadership abroad should reflect strength and stability — not unpredictability or bullying. Our nation must lead with principle, defend our allies, and act in the long-term interests of the American people.

Ray believes Congress should return to the serious responsibility of governing.

Affordability

  • While Washington celebrates economic statistics, families are dealing with rising costs, stagnant wages, and growing uncertainty.

Our tax system increasingly rewards the wealthiest interests while working Americans feel the squeeze. The result is an economy that too often pulls wealth upward rather than building broad prosperity.

Congress must focus on policies that strengthen the middle class, encourage responsible economic growth, and bring discipline back to the federal budget.

Young People

  • They deserve confidence that if they work hard, they can build a future — whether that means starting a business, raising a family, protecting our natural environment, or pursuing new opportunities in emerging industries.

But young people today face serious questions:

    • How will rapid technological change reshape jobs?

    • Will opportunity remain accessible?

    • Will our environment and natural resources be protected?

    • Will democracy and constitutional rights endure?

Government should help ensure the next generation inherits a country where opportunity is real and freedom is secure.

Why Ray is Running

Ray believes Montana deserves representation rooted in judgment, character, and constitutional principles.

That means:

  • Respecting the rule of law

  • Defending the Constitution

  • Practicing responsible governance

  • Restoring seriousness to public service

In a constitutional republic, representatives are hired by the people to do a job.

Ray is applying for that job.
